Los Angles-based rapper and Instagram tease The Game is officially the most recent celebrity to invest in cannabusiness. When asked about his new involvement with this dispensary, The Game said that he “finally has a platform to legally cultivate and sell a plant that saves lives and is changing our world in a positive way.” He went on to say, “I felt a responsibility to my family and the rest of the cannabis community to do this the right way,”

Minnesota Man Surprised to Find Half-Pound of Weed in His Mailbox

On Monday, a resident of Gaylord, Minnesota received an unexpected package.

The anonymous resident opened up their mailbox earlier this week to find a package they didn’t order.  Upon opening the strange mail, they discovered that it was a sealed back of marijuana, weighing approximately half a pound.  Whoops.

The resident contacted the Gaylord Police Department immediately (why???), and they posted the following Facebook post with regards to the intended ownership of the package:

We Know How Much You Probably Spend on Weed Each Year

A recent study by Headset Inc., a cannabis intelligence firm, concluded that the average marijuana consumer (at least in states where it’s recreationally legal) spends roughly $647 annually on weed.

The survey involved about 40,000 legal marijuana purchases made in Washington State from September 2014 to July 2016.  On top of that, Headset Inc., which is based out of Seattle, found that the average recreational marijuana consumer is a 37 year old man who buys flower.  Also, he averages 19.5 days between his purchases.

Giant Joint Makes Appearance at Democratic National Convention

Giant Joint Makes Appearance at Democratic National Convention

As most of you probably already know, the DNC is taking place right now in Philadelphia. Bernie supporters, who were sad (to say the least) that Mr. Sanders isn’t going to be up for election this year, marched down the street with a giant 51-foot inflatable joint in support of marijuana legalization. The best part? It was called a Jaywalk.

Guys, we love that you’re supporting marijuana legalization, and if we were there, we would be out there with you, but you’ve got to let your Bernie hurt go.

Arizona Rules That Smelling Like Weed Could Get You Searched

Arizona Rules That Smelling Like Weed Could Get You Searched

While recreational marijuana is only legal in a small part of this country, half of America has legalized medical marijuana. And, while some states are stricter than others regarding the approved MMJ ailments (looking at you, Illinois), it is still legal for patients to possess and consume marijuana. Arizona is one of these states, and that’s why a new law regarding the odor of marijuana is so strange.

On Monday, the Arizona State Supreme Court ruled that the smell of marijuana is enough to warrant a search of a person’s home or car. Again, this is weird because medical marijuana has been legal in Arizona since 2011.

Lil Wayne Allegedly Kicked Off Airplane for Smoking Weed

Apparently you can’t fly high, even if you’re Lil Wayne. Minutes after takeoff, the crews of Lil Wayne’s chartered private jet turned around and kicked the rapper off for allegedly sparking a blunt minutes after wheels up.

According to TMZ, Weezy informed the pilot that he and his entourage would, in fact, be hotboxing the cabin. The pilot was less than impressed and told the group that they could absolutely not smoke on the airplane.
