Cannabis Experts Chime In On Ebola Cure Claims

The cannabis/Ebola controversy continues to pick up steam and support. Several cannabis researchers are chiming in on their beliefs that perhaps marijuana could be effective in the cure and treatment of Ebola. Recently the Ebola virus has reared its ugly head again, ravaging three countries in West Africa. Ever since, health and government officials have been scrambling to find a cure. Even in this day and age, a reliable vaccine has yet to be developed.

Although cannabis research is still in its infancy, many rumors are starting to circulate that marijuana could be used as a treatment or even a cure for the deadly virus, or at the very least should be looked into as such. Even a former Governor and Presidential candidate has let it be known that he believes the plant could be very useful against Ebola. The recent cases of Ebola in the states has prompted researchers to find effective methods to fight the virus. The argument is basically this: Ebola kills by attacking the body's immune system, meanwhile cannabis researchers believe that the anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties could be used against the virus, and we are just at the beginning of learning about all the medicinal components of cannabis.
