Better brown-bag your lunch this week. Glass Onion Catering is recalling over 180,000 pounds of ready-to-eat salads and sandwich wraps that may be contaminated with E. coli, according to the USDA.
The salads and wraps were produced between September 23 and November 6, and have "P-34221" inside the USDA inspection mark. Many of the products are sold at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Walgreens.
E. coli O157:H7 is a potentially fatal bacteria known to cause dehydration, bloody diarrhea and abdominal cramps. While most people recover within a week, some can develop a type of kidney failure.
The USDA website has a full listing of all products involved in the recall.
