Rick Ross Arrested in Atlanta for Possession

Rapper Rick Ross has been arrested in Atlanta for possession of marijuana after being stopped by a traffic officer for a window tint violation.

The officer pulled over Rick Ross (real name William Roberts) when he noticed the tint on a passing Bentley’s windows was darker than permitted by traffic regulations. When said windows were rolled down to address the officer, he smelled marijuana and found a misdemeanor amount of weed inside the car.

The police report mentions that Rick Ross didn’t seem to be under the influence, though he was still booked into county jail Wednesday afternoon. The identity of his passenger has not been released.

The rapper is being charged with possession of marijuana, and was given a citation for riding dirty — I mean for tinted windows.
