Ben & Jerry's Is Open to Making Weed-Infused Ice Cream

With flavors like Half Baked, Jerry Garcia, Phish Food, and Satisfy My Bowl, beloved brand Ben & Jerry’s already pays more homage to marijuana than any other mainstream company. Now, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield have made it clear that once weed becomes nationally legal, the ice cream kings would be open to manufacturing THC-infused flavors.

“Makes sense to me,” Ben Cohen told HuffPost Live. “Combine your pleasures.”

Since getting high off ice cream would inevitably make you eat more ice cream, get more high, eat more ice cream (you see where I’m going with this), it seems like an undeniably clear business opportunity for Ben & Jerry’s. However, Jerry Greenfield made it clear that being open to marijuana-infused ice creams and marijuana in general is about more than just the obvious profit to be made.

“Ben and I have had previous experiences with substances, and I think legalizing marijuana is a wonderful thing,” Greenfield said.

So come on, nation! Let’s legalize and make that post-dinner bowl of ice cream all the more satisfying.
